I opened my paper this morning and on the center page was a picture of a Doctor, Dr. Noah Smirnoff, he just turned 100 years old, is living alone and still tends to all his needs , just got his drivers license renewed, says he don’t have to get it again for 4 more years!! He still treats a handful of patients from time to time, the reason this struck me so much is he is the Doctor that I had when I was carrying my first baby in 1951, I lived in Ely, Nevada, he practiced there until 1953, then moved to Reno, Nevada.
Just thought I would share that story with you, it is nice to know that some us can live to grow old with out too much trauma, I do wish him well for years to come.......

Hi, Creta. Tomcat and I went to a party Thursday night and met a man there who was 102! He walked with a cane, but he wasn't all bent over. He had some hearing loss, but other than that, no problem! He has a friend who is 84 and in a nursing home. He takes the friend in a wheelchair to the elevator, to the dining room, has lunch, then back up the elevator and returns to the friend's room. Every day. Wow.
It's me again. Tomcat has a blog of his own now! It's at http://squarencompass.blogspot.com
He posts under the name of Parsifal.
