The computer swallowed Grandma,
Yes honestly it's true.
She pressed "control" and "enter"
And disappeared from view.
It devoured her completely,
The thought just makes me squirm.
She must have caught a virus
Or been eaten by a worm.
I've searched through the recycle bin
And files of every kind"
I've even used the internet,
But nothing did I find.
In desperation I asked Yahoo
My searches to refine.
The reply from him was negative,
Not a thing was found "online".
So, if inside your "inbox"
My Grandma you should see,
Please "copy," 'scan' and 'paste' her
And send her back to me.

Saturday morning was sitting here working on computer and a car stopped out front and this lady started up the sidewalk with this beautiful vase of flowers, so went to the door to ask her who she was looking for ( sure couldn't be me) well she said "Mrs. Reno" I said yes and she handed them to me, at the time I was talking to Kurt on the phone, told him what was going on and he says "oh really, does that happen very often" well they were from him and the card said:
Just because I love you ...... Kurt
What a thrill to recieve flowers Just Because...very nice

The Minute
Just a tiny little minute,
Only sixty seconds in it.
Forced upon me,
Can't refuse it,
Didn't seek it,
Didn't choose it.
But it's up to me to use it,
Give account if I abuse it.
Just a tiny little minute
But eternity is in it.
Only sixty seconds in it.
Forced upon me,
Can't refuse it,
Didn't seek it,
Didn't choose it.
But it's up to me to use it,
Give account if I abuse it.
Just a tiny little minute
But eternity is in it.

Quilt for next Great Grandchild
These start out as panel's then you add batting and backing and it don't show too good here but every line, animal, block or whatever on this is hand quilted so when project if finished it looks quilted and fluffy, I am not sure I am doing a good job yet on taking the pictures, will keep trying.

WINTER STILL HERE
It is still foggy and cloudy and wintery, Fernley Fallon and Yerington are being called the "London Triangle" because of all the fog, but just around the corner summer is bound to show up.
Hand all cleared up and infection gone from cat, and he hasn't been back so that tells me maybe he got something from me and I am not sorry he was a real pain. By the way my cat's name is "Jezzie" or "hey cat" she is 13 years old and very set in her ways but minds fairly good.
I am so delighted to see my son Kurt back blogging, he has been off for quite some time, so it is good to have him back. Still haven't gotten Daughter in law Rocky back on it but keep working on her.
My friend Pat and I went yesterday and signed up for a passport, we are going to Seattle in April to Kurt's and on to Canada, should be a great trip. The Tulip Festival is in April so we usually get to see all the fields of tulips, it is really quite a sight, row after row of them, dozens of fields, all colors of the rainbow very beautiful and well worth the trip. The website is www.TulipFestival.org
for more information.
Well guess that is the news from foggy Fernley will stay in touch....
